These two girls were walking through the lower market in Shimla, Himachel Pradesh, India when I stopped them to take their photograph. Shimla was the hill station to which the British Raj decamped every summer to avoid the heat and monsoons of Delhi. The vertical panoramic photograph was taken with a Hasselblad X-pan camera.
