Two girls, Hacienda Zuleta

These two girls have come from the neighboring countryside, near Otavalo, with their families two celebrate the San Juan festival at the Hacienda Zuleta, the home of a former president of Ecuador. It is common for farmers and villagers to visit the large hacienda in their area as a symbol of respect at the festival time of the summer solstice. This photograph was taken with a Hasselblad HD-31 camera.
