From the fortified church, Notre-Dame de Valere, on the hill above the town, there is this beautiful view of Sion, the capital of the canton Valais, in southern Switzerland. In the old town below, several pedestrian friendly streets and main square make for several pleasant hours of window shopping and eating. This photograph was taken with a Hasselblad HD-31 camera.
