Cuba, and especially Havana, is know for all the 1950's American cars that still are visible on the streets. Most of the engines have been replaced with Soviet diesel, and many of the owners use them as illegal taxis. Cubans are not allowed to sell their American built cars to foreigners, but must sell them to the state instead.
