Neil Meyerhoff

This older man was visiting the Jakar dzong in the Bumthang district in central Bhutan. The dzongs are both administrative and religious centers and each district has a dzong. All the dzongs are architecturally similar, almsot all having originally been built within the reign of one leader in the 17th century. This vertical panoramic photograph was made with a Hasselblad X-pan camera.
