Switzerland

The Matterhorn, at 4,478 meters is one of the symbols of Switzerland. The area nearest the base of the mountain is reached by a railway from the town of Zermatt. Clouds often conceal the mountain as they did later this day. This summer time photograph was taken with a Hasselblad HD-31 camera.
