This panoramic photograph was taken in the early morning light in the town of Locronan, a town made rich in the 18th century due to the quality of the sails produced in this area. The village was used as one of the setting of the film, Tess of the d'Ubevilles. It is located in the departement of Finistere in western Brittany, France.
