These men with their drums and cymbals are part of the beginning of a celebration at this Christian church in the state of Kerala, India. This state has the highest percentage of Christians in India. The sweat on the men is a result of their exertions, but also the event is occurring at noon under the blazing sun of southern India. As is said of southern India, there are two seasons, hot and hotter. This panoramic photograph was taken with a Hasselblad X-pan camera.
