The Chateau du Chillon sits on a tiny spur of land on the eastern edge of Lake Geneva and was built for the Dukes of Savoy in the 13th century. The castle is surround by massive walls and is well known for its prison that held Fancois de Bonivard. The castle is often reflected in the waters of the lake and creates a very romantic setting as seen in this early morning photograph taken with a Hasselblad HD-31 camera.
